It is also aligned with The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Australian HR Institute (AHRI), and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), offering global professional recognition to enhance your career prospects.
The BA (Hons) Business Management (HRM) courses are dual accredited by Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Institute of leadership and Management (ILM), both of which award Level 5 Diplomas or Certificates to graduates at no additional cost to your degree. Graduates will be also be awarded the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status which recognises that you have the foundation skills needed to be an effective manager, helping you to stand out from the competition and start your management career journey - with a clear pathway to achieving full Chartered Manager status
Syllabus
BA (Hons) Business Management (HRM) with Foundation Year
This course is identical to the BA Business Management (HRM), but contains an additional year of study that is designed to ensure your success at the university level. During your studies you’ll gain a wider understanding of HR functions, operations, and cutting edge technologies. You’ll also develop new personal and professionals attributes in dedicated skills-related modules to help build your soft skills and decision-making abilities. Learning research and data analysis techniques using academic and industry focused texts, articles, and reports, you’ll gain a better understanding of contemporary human resources management and overall business functions, with the ability to analyse practical case studies drawn from a range of international organisations.
Funding options
Berlin Merit Scholarship for undergraduate courses
This scholarship offers between €2,000-3,000 per year off undergraduate tuition fees based on academic merit. Foundation year programmes not eligible.
Regional Offer for postgraduate courses
Our regional offer is available to nationals of many countries around the world, and could give you a discount of up to €6,000, reducing your tuition fees from €15,000 to just €9,000 for your Master of Public Health.

Free German Language Courses
While studying this course you’ll have the opportunity to take part in our introductory German language courses, free of charge, totalling 140 hours and covering levels A1 and A2.
